Sit inside or outside on our new sun deck and enjoy stunning views across the Sussex countryside over a coffee or light snack. Let's go gardening... February 2012 As snowdrops and winter aconites come to the end of their flowering period they can be transplanted if required. Freshly lifted bare-rooted herbaceous perennials can continue to be split and planted when the soil is not frosted. A good range of new varieties are available in the plantaria. Pruning of top fruit trees can continue this month. Wisterias can be spur pruned. Plan sowings of early flowers and vegetables. See the reference section for advice on these tasks.
